Discovery Climbing
Several school sites in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn are suitable for beginners and will allow you to take your first steps in safety! 2 formulas for initiation to rock climbing are available.
Climb up to 15 meters high on nice initiation sites like "face aux figues" or "le gruyère"!
From 4 to 6 years old with at least one parent who will also climb! It is a privileged moment of sharing with your children in a natural environment! The site, in the shade, will allow you to fully enjoy this experience and to see your children progress! It will also be an opportunity for parents to climb together and to share a moment of exchange "led" by your guide.
From 6 years old, with family, friends or alone, try the experience hanging from the end of a rope. You will take turns climbing routes up to 15 m high. Your guide's technical advice will help you gain confidence but also to discover the anecdotes and secrets of the area!
The limestone here offers a unique climbing quality, consisting mainly of round-hole holds and rulers. Experienced climbers and beginners alike can really appreciate the almost unique and privileged setting of the Gorges du Tarn, just a few minutes from Millau or our base in the village of Des Vignes in Lozère!
Prerequisites:
From 4 years old and accompanied by an adult who participates in the activity.
Includes:
Helmet, harness, rope, slippers on request, and safety equipment.
What to bring:
Trainers with a good sole + laces, water and a snack for after the activity
